Synus Upgrade Announces Release Date For His ForthComing “Locked Town” EP

The road to stardom begins from somewhere and in most cases not as easy as one thinks. Unfortunately there is no single road to that. In essence there are many roads to stardom, depend on which of the roads in the trend of destiny one finds himself.

To some who have made it to stardom, the road had been a smooth one which gave them an easy ride without obstacle to their destiny in life. While to some, the road had been very rough with many impediment. But the good thing is that, both roads at the end leads to one destination which is stardom, fame and riches.

For Alhassan sanusi popularly known in the music world as Synus Upgrade aka Aljani with the rap, the road to stardom has been so brutally “rough”. With a lot of obstacle, hurdles, and impediment that short change the possibility of any success from this ghetto (Loktown) bred artist. For Synus upgrade, in short, all odds were working against him.

Starting from his lowly family background to the environment of his upbringing, the socio-economic indies where’ negatively working against him. But in spite of all negative odds and factors, he never had allowed himself to be discouraged. Rather, the negative factors continuously served as spring-board to his musical career he has chosen.

Who is Synus Upgrade

Synus upgrade was born on the 15th July 1995 in makera street in lokoja town to the family of Mallam and Mallama Alhassan bichi, both indegines of kano state but based in kogi state.

Succinctly put, Synus an indigene of kano state but born and bred up in kogi state, hausa by tribe and speaks English and other local languages fluently.

He attended St. Mary primary school and went to bishop demise college/Muslim community secondary school (MCSS) lokoja.
He went to Kogi State polytechnic (KSP) where he became an undergraduate on Office technology and management. Upgrade is currently working at a butchery (kwata) in Loktown.

Synus started his musical career in 2010 in the street of old market Lokoja, precisely in Angwan Kura -makera, Angwan Pawa and Madabo neighborhoods.

Today Synus Upgrade is a multi talented artist, hailed from the central of Nigerian and he’s getting a world wide recognition gradually in the music scene.

About Locked Town EP

In anticipation of his forthcoming debut body of work titled “LOCKED TOWN THE EP” he shared the playlist album art for LTEP which, featured couple of great artists; BOC Madaki
Concept man, Mr Q, Nayture Voiz Fk Dreamboy, breezy Yo, 3shells and King Of Accra from Ghana, which makes him the first artist in kogi music history to do a feature with a standard International artist. “LOCKED TOWN THE EP” Is an eight (8) Tracks Extended Playlist and it’s set to drop on 29, June 2023.. What is Locked Town??

Loktown is the acronym name for lokoja the best city in the world, the city I loved most. Locked Town actually wants to mean Loktown, but the hurdles and the obstacles experiences in my city gave birth to LTEP.
